LastPass evaluation:

Lastpass already has a great free plan with multi-device sync, but their family plan is unbeatable: Not only it can autofill forms, store credit card or any other details, the user experience is great, and it’s pricing is quite reasonable. While Dashlane has more and better features overall, for Families, LastPass is the best choice.

2nd Place: Roboform

4.5/5

Roboform evaluation:

Not only Roboform ranks 3rd on our Top Password Manager List, it’s second, when it comes to families! All the features are here which you and your family might need (including Password Sharing, Emergency contacts, Shared folders, etc), and it’s price is still unbeatable. The only reason it finished second is that we liked LastPass’s user interface a bit better.

3rd Place: 1Password

1Password Evaluation

The Developers of 1Password have also been around for a while now, and from a Family perspective, they do not disappoint:Their Password history is vital for any family, their apps are easy to use, and the Watchtower feature alerts all members, if something is wrong with their password. The reason it got the third place is the price, but if you have more than 5 family members, you can easily add extra spots for $1 per user,  so if you have a family of 8, 1Password might be your only choice.
